"I do not give 5 stars very often. Catalina Del Sol is a 5 star restaurant, one of the few in Tupelo. They are not a typical Mexican Restaurant. They are upscale. The cleanliness, atmosphere, professionalism of the the employees, and the food are all impeccable. They feature a lunch buffet and excellent menu options. They have an extensive selection of tequilas. Treat yourself to a meal for lunch or supper and it will become a regular on your rotation. I guarantee it!"

"Where do I start?! First of all, we came to town for a job and were just popping in somewhere close to our hotel and when I tell you we did NOT expect what we got- I'm not lying. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and his recommendations were on point! My only regret is not getting his name for this review. My husband ordered the Molcajete and I got the Tequila Pollo after he suggested, and neither dish disappointed. The flavor was everything (I tried my husband's also ) and the serving sizes! Y'all! If I would not have stuffed myself there, I'd have two meals from one dish. Instead I combined our two meals and got one plate- still plenty left. We will definitely be back. I thought there was a bell to ring for the chef, but I didn't see it. If you go and see the bell there RING IT FOR ME! If we come back to this area, we are definitely eating here again."

"Attended lunch here with work. I really liked that it has a buffet. It had the usual Mexican food and they had authentic street tacos. They had a few items that were not common to have at a Mexican restaurant such as brisket and chuck roast. The food was extremely good, but while there we felt like we were being rushed for "last call" and had to hurry up and fix our last plates. Overall, it was pretty good and the staff was exceptional."
